Shouldham Walk & Lunch

The started morning slightly chilly but by the time we met at 11.15 at Shouldham Warren for the walk it had warmed up with the weather warm sunny and some cloud.
Arriving at the car park, it was extremely busy. There was a running event taking place. We managed to find parking places. There were six of us plus Jenny’s dog, Bess. We planned to do one of the waymarked walks but with the running event, Jenny who regularly walks with Bess at The Warren guided by Jenny took us away from the main routes and we had a very pleasant, refreshing, relaxing walk for an hour and a half.
We arrived at The King’s Arms just after one to join seven other members for lunch. A selection of Roast dinners was on offer. Several opted for a small portion but all were substantial.
Desserts on offer included sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownies. Most decided on ice cream or souffle.
It was a very enjoyable morning and lunch.
